Engineering Manager, Treasury

About the role

Givebutter is seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead our Treasury pod and deliver world-class financial infrastructure. You will be responsible for shipping code, mentoring a team of engineers, and making architectural decisions while ensuring the security and performance of our nonprofit fundraising platform. This role requires a leader who stays close to production and thrives in a high-growth, product-led environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the VP of Engineering to develop and execute the Treasury engineering strategy
• Lead, manage, and mentor a talented team of full-stack engineers building Givebutter Wallet features, payment tools, and financial dashboards
• Own the Treasury engineering function, setting technical direction and ensuring alignment with company objectives
• Drive the development of same-day ACH transfer tools, card issuing systems, and QuickBooks integration
• Build and maintain financial infrastructure that enables nonprofits to earn rewards on their funds
• Bring technical expertise to the evolution of financial systems to ensure architecture is optimized for security, reliability, and growth
• Improve internal engineering workflows and champion code quality across the team
• Evaluate and apply AI and machine learning tools to drive innovation in financial product development
