Senior Software Engineer

About the role

NetBox Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development and lifecycle management of NetBox Enterprise, our on-premises product suite. You will own the installation and configuration processes, tackle complex technical challenges, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement Kubernetes-based, high-availability on-premises solutions.
• Extend and maintain our Kubernetes operator for installation, upgrades, and self-healing.
• Develop and maintain our operational management console and associated tools.
• Architect and implement robust multi-stage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Drive releases on a six-week cadence including versioning and release management.
• Write Rust and Python across the stack for operator internals, tooling, and APIs.
• Build internal tooling and APIs to facilitate integration testing.
• Develop comprehensive documentation and best practice guidelines for deployments.
• Serve as Engineering Guardian to field escalations and resolve customer deployment issues.
