Cloud Platform Engineer

About the role

The Cloud Platform Engineer takes technical responsibility for productive Kubernetes platforms on sovereign cloud infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and future-readiness. This role involves acting as a consultant to clients, identifying improvement potential, and actively driving the development of the platform roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Manage, secure, and develop productive Kubernetes clusters on sovereign cloud platforms like T Cloud Public.
• Administer platform services including Istio, Kyverno, OpenBao, Prometheus, Grafana, Fluent Bit, and OpenSearch.
• Execute deployments and configurations using GitOps principles with FluxCD and Helm.
• Administer Linux servers with Ansible, including Docker-based workloads and PostgreSQL databases.
• Provision and maintain cloud resources such as compute instances, networks, security groups, and IAM.
• Consult clients on technical roadmaps and identify opportunities for platform optimization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent
