Cloud Engineer

About the role

RobCo is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join the Infrastructure & Data team to lead GitLab and GitOps best practices. You will own the development and improvement of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and scalable GitOps workflows while collaborating with the team on cloud environments, Kubernetes, and MLOps. This role offers the opportunity to work on end-to-end robotics infrastructure and grow your technical expertise across a modern stack.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain GitOps workflows so that Git is the single source of truth for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Manage promotion flows across environments and out to edge devices.
• Write and maintain Terraform or similar IaC for the AWS environment.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
• Set up monitoring, alerting, and dashboards, and participate in incident response.
• Apply software security best practices and automate repetitive operational tasks.
