About the role
The Data Protection Specialist will actively shape data protection practices and ensure legal requirements are implemented in a practical manner. The role involves handling data protection inquiries, supporting the processing of data subject requests, and advising internal teams on new and modified processes. You will work closely with the Group Data Protection Coordinator to ensure effective data protection compliance across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Independent examination and assessment of data protection issues according to GDPR and BDSG
- Processing of data subject requests, data protection complaints, and individual cases including the creation of statements
- Advising departments on new and adapted processes and supporting the assessment of data breaches
- Drafting and reviewing data protection contracts, particularly data processing agreements
- Close coordination with the Group Data Protection Coordinator and support in implementing group-wide data protection requirements
