GIS Product Engineer II – ArcGIS Maps SDKs for Native Apps

About the role

Esri is seeking a GIS Product Engineer to join the product development team in Cardiff. You will support the delivery of high-quality ArcGIS Maps SDKs by creating sample applications, developer documentation, and conducting outreach to improve cross-platform GIS software libraries.

Responsibilities

• Apply independent thought to understand user challenges and provide feedback on user experience
• Gather requirements from software developer customers to translate into code and documentation improvements
• Build focused test code for investigation and regression testing
• Collaborate in SDK environments to investigate problems and design enhancements
• Build GIS datasets, maps, and sample applications to highlight product capabilities
• Document technical topics and produce developer-focused product documentation
• Administer and automate GIS systems to support new product features

Qualifications
