Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

Stark is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to expand its mission management software, Minerva Frontline. You will build and evolve a high-performance frontend architecture that connects operators to autonomous systems in real-time, operating under extreme constraints like low-bandwidth networks and air-gapped devices. The role requires a systems thinker who can balance rapid delivery with deep technical understanding to translate complex data into clear, mission-critical interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Engineer highly optimized frontend solutions that handle high-frequency telemetry and asynchronous data streams while minimizing computational load.
• Translate complex data into immediate situational awareness by managing operator cognitive load.
• Proactively challenge backend APIs and data structures to ensure frontend performance and user experience.
• Set architectural guardrails and orchestrate agentic AI workflows to solve novel integration and quality challenges.
• Build high-performance, framework-less user interfaces using Vanilla TypeScript and Web Components.
• Act as a team multiplier by sharing knowledge and facilitating fact-based design discussions.
