GIS Product Engineer II – ArcGIS Maps SDKs for Native Apps

About the role

Esri is seeking a GIS Product Engineer to join the product development team for ArcGIS Maps SDKs. The role involves supporting the delivery of high-quality releases by improving cross-platform GIS software libraries, creating sample applications, and producing developer documentation. You will collaborate with development teams to investigate issues, validate workflows, and engage with the developer community.

Responsibilities

• Apply independent thought to understand user challenges and provide feedback on user experience
• Gather requirements from software developers to translate into actionable code and documentation improvements
• Build test code to represent complex situations for investigation and regression testing
• Collaborate in SDK environments to explore issues and design enhancements
• Build GIS datasets, maps, and sample applications to highlight product capabilities
• Work with teams to design and validate GIS workflows for field mapping and spatial analysis
• Document technical topics and produce developer-focused product documentation
• Administer and automate GIS systems to support product development and releases

Qualifications
