About the role
The Environeering Group is seeking an agricultural engineer to support groundwater protection consulting in the Cologne-Niederkassel region. The role involves advising farms on optimizing crop protection, fertilization, and soil health through the use of digital agricultural technologies and software. You will work closely with farmers, water suppliers, and colleagues to implement sustainable practices and manage field trials.
Responsibilities
- Advise agricultural businesses on water-friendly optimization of crop protection and fertilization
- Create fertilization plans and nitrogen balances to optimize agricultural measures
- Support practical field trials with farmers during the growing season and prepare reports
- Assist farms with the implementation and data maintenance of agricultural software and digital tools
- Plan and conduct field visits, training sessions, and meetings for farmers
