About the role
Share is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to join their global marketplace for bandwidth. You will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the network infrastructure during off-peak hours, ensuring high availability and performance. This role involves working within an AI-assisted operations environment, where you will resolve incidents, automate repetitive tasks, and contribute to the ongoing development of the network.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the network using Zabbix and Grafana dashboards to identify and resolve issues such as BGP drops, latency, or capacity breaches.
- Troubleshoot and localize faults, distinguishing between local and upstream issues to minimize downtime.
- Perform proactive network health checks, including route propagation, RPKI, and filter chain verification.
- Automate repetitive tasks and configuration changes using scripts, Jinja, and tools like NAPALM or NETCONF.
- Manage configuration changes through Git and maintain the accuracy of the network source of truth in Nautobot.
- Provide clear, concise incident reports and handovers to the team to ensure seamless operations.
