Senior Platform Engineer

About the role

Filigran is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join their team and manage the infrastructure behind their open-source XTM platform. You will be responsible for designing, operating, and scaling production Kubernetes clusters across bare-metal and public cloud environments. This role involves working closely with software development teams to ensure platform reliability, security, and the integration of AI-driven workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production Kubernetes clusters on bare-metal and public cloud infrastructure.
• Roll out and operate products in new regions and on new providers as the SaaS footprint expands.
• Develop and maintain deployment tooling including Helm charts, Ansible automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure SaaS instance availability through observability, monitoring, capacity planning, and incident management.
• Harden the platform to meet requirements for regulated environments such as FedRAMP and SecNumCloud.
• Utilize AI agents for infrastructure tasks while maintaining accountability for all shipped code.
• Document decisions and design guardrails to facilitate safe contributions from other teams.
