About the role
As a working student or intern, you will support the technical and environmental assessment of Power-to-X processes and plants. You will contribute to sustainability assessments, process simulations, and the development of carbon footprint models to help shape the energy transition.
Responsibilities
- Conducting and evaluating process simulations for Power-to-X and e-fuel processes
- Preparing and plausibility-checking mass and energy balances
- Investigating different process configurations and operating cases
- Supporting the creation and further development of Product Carbon Footprints and Life Cycle Assessments
- Calculating and assessing greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption, and CO2 savings
- Supporting ISCC certification and the related technical documentation
- Collecting, structuring, and plausibility-checking process, energy, and emissions data
- Researching regulatory and methodological requirements for e-fuels and RFNBOs
