About the role

The Senior Project Manager oversees large client accounts involving multiple parallel IT and software development projects. This role is responsible for managing timelines, budgets, resources, quality, and risks while providing professional leadership to project teams. Acting as a central interface between clients and delivery management, the role ensures complex accounts are steered successfully and projects remain on track.

Responsibilities

• Steer large client accounts with multiple parallel IT and software development projects while maintaining oversight of timelines, budgets, quality, and risks.
• Manage and support project teams, fostering their professional development within ongoing projects.
• Implement effective risk management to ensure risks, dependencies, and escalations are identified, assessed, and addressed early.
• Create transparency through metrics, forecasts, status reports, and decision-making foundations.
• Manage client communication at the management level and moderate steering committees and critical meetings.
• Coordinate resources and competencies across projects and set clear priorities.
• Intervene in at-risk projects to stabilize management before transitioning operational responsibility back to the project manager.
• Oversee the transition of new projects from sales to delivery, refining scope, expectations, and calculations.

Qualifications

• Erfahrung in der fachlichen Führung und Entwicklung von Projektmanagern und interdisziplinären Teams
• Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (min. C1-Level)
