Senior Optronics Systems Engineer

About the role

As a Systems Engineer for optical solutions, you will be responsible for the system integration of core products from requirements analysis through to series production. You will work closely with mechanical, electronic, and software teams to drive technical innovation and ensure the quality of precision instruments. The role requires deep optical expertise and the ability to translate complex requirements into innovative systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical projects across all development phases from ideation to series production.
• Coordinate system interfaces between optics, mechanics, electronics, and software.
• Develop requirements and specifications based on market needs and customer feedback.
• Ensure quality through systematic interface validation between disciplines.
• Communicate technical details with internal and external partners.
• Coordinate with suppliers to support production readiness and quality processes.
• Monitor technology trends and innovative material developments.
• Lead research and development projects up to Technology Readiness Level 6.
