Manager Tax Compliance FATCA & CRS

About the role

The Manager Tax Compliance FATCA & CRS will oversee corporate and international tax compliance, including FATCA, CRS, and AEOI, for the asset management division of an international Swiss bank. This role involves analyzing tax legislation, managing tax reporting for private equity funds, and providing investment-related tax advice to stakeholders. The position serves as a primary point of contact for tax-related inquiries and requires collaboration with IT to implement regulatory changes.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for corporate tax, international tax compliance (FATCA/CRS) and client tax reporting
• Ensure AEOI and US tax compliance for management of private equity funds
• Analyze tax legislation and identify impact on investments for portfolio management and investors
• Analyze distribution provisions in fund agreements and distribution allocation for investors
• Analyze international tax rules for PFICs or CFCs and tax reporting
• Analyze debt and equity, income of tax-exempt clients (UBTI) and other tax analyses for private equity funds
• Act as a single point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with IT to implement regulatory changes in tools, processes and systems

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Law, Accounting or Taxation
• Qualified as a tax professional
• Professional experience at a Big Four firm or a top-tier law firm
