About the role
Unity Advisory is seeking a manager to lead its corporate tax advisory practice. The role involves managing a portfolio of client engagements, providing strategic tax advice, and leveraging AI-powered tools to support CFOs and business leaders. You will lead technical work, build client relationships, and help shape the growth of the team.
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of corporate tax advisory engagements across multiple sectors and transaction types.
- Develop and deliver tax strategy recommendations on structuring, planning and optimisation, translating complexity into clear commercial advice.
- Prepare and review corporate tax compliance work, ensuring technical accuracy and full compliance with current legislation.
- Manage HMRC correspondence and enquiries, representing clients effectively and negotiating outcomes on their behalf.
- Work with clients on M&A tax due diligence, transaction structuring and post-deal tax integration planning.
- Produce clear, well-structured technical reports and client-facing deliverables that explain tax positions in plain terms.
- Coach and develop junior team members through day-to-day oversight, review and quality control.
- Contribute to business development, including proposals, pitches and growth opportunities within existing and new client relationships.

Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation
- Track record in corporate tax advisory or compliance at an established firm
- CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
