About the role
The Global Research Program Manager will serve as the connective tissue between departments, driving operational efficiency and coordinating cross-team projects. This role involves managing key partnerships, overseeing technical tools and operations, and ensuring that training data is synchronized with frontier AI model releases. The successful candidate will support field scientists and production teams to ensure they can focus on pioneering research and development.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with external technical and scientific partners, including universities and sequencing vendors.
- Own the operational coordination between the Global Research team and external sequencing providers, tracking timelines and resolving quality or capacity issues.
- Coordinate publication timelines across collaborations and ensure commitments regarding data return and sampling deliverables are met.
- Work across Global Research, Data Science, and Science teams to plan and execute cross-functional initiatives for foundational model development.
- Identify bottlenecks in internal workflows and implement new processes or tools to boost operational efficiency.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of software tools and platforms used by technical teams.
