About the role
CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Program Manager to oversee program performance and day-to-day execution for satellite and airborne platform subsystems. The role involves serving as the primary point of contact for customers, managing multiple projects, and ensuring adherence to cost, schedule, and technical requirements. You will work cross-functionally to drive data-informed decisions and support the improvement of standard processes within the Space Payloads portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Manage program performance and day-to-day execution for customer subsystems or payloads.
- Serve as the single point of contact for customer interactions, including program and bi-weekly reviews.
- Establish program management baselines, including integrated master plans and resource-loaded schedules.
- Monitor program progress and generate revised estimates for leadership and finance teams.
- Collaborate with functional organizations to ensure program success using risk-based decision making.
- Assist in improving standard processes and implementing best practices across the portfolio.
- Mentor program engineers and support hiring activities.
