Senior Product Designer

About the role

Skalar is building a digital tax consultancy that leverages AI to automate repetitive tasks and simplify complex processes. As a Senior Product Designer, you will design both the client-facing portal and the internal tools used by the tax team to work alongside AI. You will collaborate directly with product management, engineering, and the founders to create intuitive, efficient, and transparent experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end service blueprints and customer journeys from onboarding to tax filing.
• Define interfaces for human-in-the-loop AI workflows that allow for efficient review and correction of AI suggestions.
• Translate complex tax information into understandable formats for clients.
• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing with both clients and internal teams.
• Build high-fidelity prototypes using Figma, AI tools, or code.
• Develop and maintain the company design system including components, patterns, and tonality.
• Collaborate with engineering through to release and measure design impact via key metrics.
