Head of AI and Technology

About the role

The Head of AI and Technology is responsible for the direction, delivery, and adoption of AI across Teneo Management Consulting. This role sets AI strategy, leads the AI Engineering team, and manages technology, data, and knowledge-management workflows. It acts as the primary stakeholder for Teneo IT to ensure technology environments support business needs and drive effective AI tool usage.

Responsibilities

• Own the Management Consulting AI strategy, roadmap, and priorities aligned with business goals.
• Lead the day-to-day operations, resource allocation, and performance management of the AI Engineering team.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of AI solutions from discovery and prototyping to production and support.
• Partner with leadership to translate business priorities into a focused AI agenda and secure investment decisions.
• Act as the principal stakeholder for Teneo IT regarding centrally managed technology, data platforms, and services.
• Manage the strategy and procurement for Management Consulting-specific software, data, and subscriptions.
• Develop and execute AI capability-building and training plans to drive adoption across the business.
• Ensure all AI solutions comply with security, risk, legal, and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience setting and delivering an AI and technology strategy in a professional services or consulting environment
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and taking AI or software products into production
• Experience in technology and data governance including responsible AI and information security
• Experience improving knowledge-management workflows in a knowledge-intensive environment
