About the role
Hawk is seeking a hands-on, technically grounded CISO to lead its global security posture and manage a team of four domain specialists. This role involves direct involvement in cloud architecture reviews, incident response, and technical security debates with customer bank CISOs. The CISO will be responsible for securing AI-powered financial crime detection platforms while ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Establish and enforce secure coding baselines and integrate security gates into CI/CD pipelines.
- Protect build systems and deployment pipelines against supply chain tampering and vulnerabilities.
- Architect and drive a group-wide Zero Trust roadmap across AWS and GCP environments.
- Act as the senior technical authority in enterprise sales cycles to validate architecture and threat models.
- Serve as the hands-on incident commander during security incidents and lead technical investigations.
- Maintain and evolve the company-wide Risk Registry and oversee third-party risk management.
- Ensure compliance with DORA, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR requirements.
