About the role
As a Software Engineer for Mission Execution, you will build the software infrastructure that translates mission plans into reliable, real-time behavior for autonomous robots and multi-agent systems. You will collaborate with mission planning, simulation, and product teams to ensure that these systems are predictable and effective in live operations.
Responsibilities
- Design and build the mission execution infrastructure that turns planned missions into reliable, real-time behavior across fleets of autonomous systems.
- Develop scalable backend services and APIs for mission guidance, orchestration, agents communication, and execution.
- Set and defend a high quality bar: CI/CD pipelines, testing, code review standards, observability, and release discipline.
- Write production-grade C++ and Python that runs in real-time and resource-constrained environments.
- Partner with Mission Planning, and product teams to ensure algorithms are integrated cleanly, tested thoroughly, and deployable in the field.
- Analyze logs and telemetry from tests and live operations to find failure modes and drive systemic fixes.
