Engagement Manager (Strategy & Data/AI Transformation)

About the role

As an Engagement Manager, you will work at the intersection of strategy consulting and data and AI delivery. You will lead mixed teams of consultants, data scientists, and engineers to solve complex business challenges, design AI solutions, and manage client relationships at the C-level. This role requires a balance of technical depth in AI and data concepts with strong business acumen to drive tangible impact for global clients.

Responsibilities

• Strategy Development: Work with client leadership teams to address high-stakes questions regarding AI strategy, governance, and business model transformation.
• Structured Problem-Solving: Break complex challenges down into actionable decisions by combining consulting rigour with a working knowledge of AI capabilities.
• Solution Design: Define the data, platform, and product requirements for AI solutions while ensuring they are viable for production.
• Project Delivery: Manage engagements end-to-end, including hypothesis framing, market analysis, data maturity assessments, and implementation roadmaps.
• Feasibility & Economics: Own the business case, including evaluation approaches, unit economics, and cost-benefit analysis.
• Client Engagement: Build trusted relationships with C-level stakeholders and communicate recommendations with clarity.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor mixed teams of consultants, data scientists, and engineers.
• Knowledge & Practice Building: Contribute to the growth of the Swiss offices by shaping new offerings and creating intellectual capital.
