Server & Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

The Server & Infrastructure Engineer will work on core backend systems and services, contributing to live services and build systems. This role involves managing and expanding infrastructure, automated CI/CD pipelines, and development tools while collaborating with technical leads to build reliable, high-performing server environments.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-day backend engineering tasks with minimal guidance.
• Design, deploy, and support scalable server architectures and cloud infrastructure.
• Build, maintain, and optimise robust CI/CD workflows and automated deployment pipelines.
• Participate in technical planning, architectural brainstorming, and technical cost/complexity estimation.
• Proactively identify workflow bottlenecks and drive initiatives to improve engineering team productivity and code quality.
• Participate in internal tech talks and maintain collaborative peer relationships across engineering squads.
