Site Reliability Engineer (Storage)

About the role

Qonto is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join their Storage team and ensure the resilience, safety, and availability of their banking-grade storage infrastructure. You will operate and improve systems including PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and Elasticsearch while building self-service tools for backend teams. This role involves managing incident response, defining disaster-recovery scenarios, and contributing to the security of storage APIs for AI agents.

Responsibilities

• Operate and safeguard critical storage infrastructure including PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka and Elasticsearch in production.
• Own incident response and root-cause analysis for performance problems and hard queries.
• Define and prioritize backup and disaster-recovery scenarios in collaboration with the Risk and Compliance team.
• Build internal platform APIs and self-service tooling for backend teams to manage storage resources.
• Contribute to making storage APIs safe and traceable for autonomous AI agents.
