About the role
Tavily is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the vertical search layer end to end. You will identify and productize specific industries and use cases by evaluating data sources, shaping product surfaces, and translating customer needs into technical specifications. This role requires a hands-on approach to driving product strategy, from initial market discovery through to adoption and revenue.
Responsibilities
- Own the vertical roadmap and decide where to invest.
- Shape the product surface to meet specific industry job requirements.
- Find and evaluate public and premium data providers for each vertical.
- Conduct customer discovery to understand workflows and translate them into engineering specs.
- Define quality standards for search answers in collaboration with the evaluation team.
- Collaborate with customer success to analyze user feedback and churn drivers.
- Partner with the search owner to optimize result ranking and shaping for specific use cases.
