Senior Product Manager, Search Infrastructure

About the role

Tavily is the web access layer for AI agents, providing search infrastructure for over two million developers. This role owns the search infrastructure product, balancing tradeoffs between relevance, freshness, speed, and cost. You will define quality standards, shape the index roadmap, and guide the evolution of search for agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Set the quality bar and release criteria for search, working closely with the evaluation team.
• Own the depth, latency, and cost tradeoffs across search products.
• Shape the direction of the index regarding coverage, freshness, and quality.
• Build a roadmap based on the future of search infrastructure for AI agents.
• Analyze competitive alternatives and drive work to close critical gaps.
• Collaborate with customer success to translate real-world feedback into quality priorities.
• Partner with data and product owners to define corpus content and industry-specific result shaping.

Qualifications
