About the role

The Technical Project Director oversees the full lifecycle of datacenter projects, from feasibility studies to commissioning. This role involves defining technical architectures, managing design reviews, and ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements. The director acts as a bridge between technical teams, commercial departments, and operations to deliver robust and scalable infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies covering technical, economic, regulatory, and environmental aspects.
• Perform upstream studies including power and thermal load calculations and IT capacity planning.
• Define and model technical architectures for electrical, cooling, and security systems.
• Manage test fits and coordinate with architects, engineering firms, and internal partners.
• Lead design reviews to ensure compliance with client standards and financial constraints.
• Direct projects through the full lifecycle including framing, design, consultation, and commissioning.
• Facilitate the handover of technical projects to the operations team.

Qualifications
