About the role

The Technical Project Director for Datacenters manages the full lifecycle of complex infrastructure projects, from feasibility studies to commissioning. This role involves defining technical architectures, overseeing design reviews, and ensuring projects meet financial, regulatory, and operational standards. The director acts as a bridge between technical teams, commercial departments, and operations to deliver robust and scalable datacenter solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies covering technical, economic, regulatory, and environmental aspects.
• Perform upstream studies and pre-dimensioning for power, thermal, and IT capacity requirements.
• Define and model technical architectures including electrical chains, cooling, and security systems.
• Manage test fits and coordinate with architects, design offices, and internal partners.
• Organize design reviews to ensure compliance with client standards and budget constraints.
• Lead projects through the full lifecycle including framing, design, consultation, and commissioning.
• Facilitate the transition to operations by overseeing testing and handover to the operations team.
