Senior Product Manager - Payments Platform

About the role

The Payments & Blockchain team is seeking a product manager to lead the vision and roadmap for their enterprise payments infrastructure platform. You will manage the development of a multi-tenant payments backend, including APIs, SDKs, and embedded components, to support internal business units. This role involves balancing competing client needs, partnering with engineering to execute high-impact roadmaps, and ensuring seamless integration of banking and payment rails.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and roadmap for the payments platform, covering both backend systems and integration surfaces.
• Map requirements across internal clients to evolve platform capabilities and support diverse use cases.
• Partner with engineering to define a sequenced, high-impact roadmap with clear milestones.
• Prioritize competing client needs and make trade-offs visible with clear rationales.
• Shape the end-to-end client experience to facilitate adoption without heavy hand-holding.
• Collaborate with banking and partnerships teams to ensure new integrations are scalable across all business units.
• Integrate compliance, risk, and legal requirements into the roadmap early in the development cycle.
• Set and track platform success metrics, including time-to-launch and payment success rates.
