About the role
The Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for the development, programming, testing, and maintenance of modular firmware for ARM-based microcontrollers in industrial automation and mechatronic systems. This role involves managing the full product lifecycle, ensuring reliable communication between electronics and automation systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reusable firmware and software libraries and industrial communication interfaces.
- Plan and execute verification, system tests, and simulation-based validations including automated test solutions.
- Analyze measurement and production data to perform error analysis and system optimization.
- Support prototype development, hardware commissioning, and the transition to series production.
- Participate in hardware development, circuit design, component selection, and system architecture.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, requirement specifications, and test protocols.
