About the role

You will be responsible for the ongoing accounting of several companies within the nextbike group, both domestically and internationally. This role involves preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB, supporting group consolidation, and managing intercompany reconciliations. You will also drive the standardization and automation of accounting processes, including the implementation of AI and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage ongoing accounting for multiple group companies in Germany and abroad.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under HGB and support group consolidation.
• Handle intercompany reconciliations and settlements.
• Prepare VAT returns for Germany and manage VAT reporting for international entities.
• Collaborate with controlling, tax advisors, and auditors.
• Drive the standardization and automation of accounting processes and implement AI tools.
• Manage payment runs for various group companies.
• Provide professional or disciplinary leadership for a small team.

Qualifications
