About the role

The Conversion Modeling Team develops and maintains machine learning models that drive user conversions from Reddit Ads, focusing on predictive modeling for actions like purchases and signups. We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead this team, define the technical vision, and execute a roadmap for conversion modeling. This role requires deep machine learning expertise and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define the team's vision, strategic direction, and technical roadmap for conversion modeling.
• Oversee the model development lifecycle from ideation to deployment to ensure high performance and robustness.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain top machine learning talent while fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Partner with product managers, data scientists, and other engineering teams to align on engagement strategies and model KPIs.
• Implement and optimize model architectures tailored to conversion prediction using advanced machine learning techniques.
