Software Engineer - BrandX

About the role

Olo is seeking a Software Engineer to join the BrandX team, which develops tools for restaurant brands and internal operations, including dashboards, billing systems, and AI-driven assistants. You will work on a distributed team to build, test, and deploy features while collaborating with senior engineers and leveraging AI coding tools. This role is fully remote within Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Learn the BrandX domain and technology stack while collaborating with cross-functional partners.
• Own small-to-medium features end to end from requirement gathering to shipping.
• Write reliable, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to the team's delivery pipeline, including CI and deployment practices.
• Utilize AI coding agents like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot as a primary development method.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
• Participate in team ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Join the on-call rotation as you gain familiarity with the systems.

Qualifications
