Distributed Systems Engineer

About the role

Axiom is seeking a distributed systems engineer to build Rust-based rollup nodes and sequencers for zero-knowledge proof applications. You will design secure, efficient blockchain protocols and make pragmatic technology choices to support the development of ZK-enabled products. This role involves working within a high-performance team to scale smart contract applications.

Responsibilities

• Build Rust-based rollup nodes and sequencers to deliver zero-knowledge proof based products on-chain.
• Design secure and efficient systems for blockchain protocols.
• Make design choices to enable rapid development without sacrificing security.
• Deploy and monitor high uptime applications to production in the cloud.
• Collaborate with the team to implement and maintain large production codebases.
