Principal Production Designer, Print & Packaging

About the role

Hims & Hers is seeking a meticulous and technically sharp Production Artist to join their packaging team. This role serves as the critical link between creative vision and production reality, transforming concepts into flawless, press-ready files while managing production workflows and file organization. The position is remote and based in Europe, requiring close collaboration with a U.S.-based creative team.

Responsibilities

• Translate designs into clean, technically accurate, press-ready files for packaging and print.
• Apply dielines, manage file layers, and prepare files for various print and production formats.
• Ensure all production files meet vendor specifications, color standards, and substrate requirements.
• Maintain the file management system for packaging assets, ensuring organization and version control.
• Create and maintain production templates, dieline guides, and reference materials.
• Manage ongoing brand font rollouts across packaging, collateral, and print templates.
• Collaborate with graphic, structural, and industrial design teams to uphold creative intent.
