About the role

The Senior Media and Communications Officer will play a key role in building the company's reputation across Germany and internationally. The successful candidate will focus on media relations, content development, and strategic messaging to support the growing communications team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement media strategies that support the company’s objectives
  • Proactively pitch stories and manage relationships with German and international media outlets
  • Draft press releases, op-eds, briefings, Q&As, and reactive statements in both English and German
  • Monitor media coverage and provide regular analysis and insight to internal stakeholders
  • Support the delivery of major announcements, media events, and leadership engagements
  • Ensure message consistency across all external communications, including alignment with corporate narrative
  • Work with other internal teams to develop content that showcases the company’s technology, partnerships, and impact
  • Act as a key point of contact for media enquiries
