Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

Stark is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to expand its mission management software, Minerva Frontline. You will build and evolve the frontend as a robust, high-performance architecture while navigating physical hardware constraints and integrating agentic AI workflows. The role focuses on translating complex data streams into clear, calm interfaces for operators in high-stakes environments.

Responsibilities

• System Thinking through the Frontend Lens: Engineer highly optimized frontend solutions that handle high-frequency telemetry and asynchronous data streams while strictly minimizing computational load.
• Mission-Critical UI & UX: Implement interfaces that are deterministic, error-tolerant, and focused on providing clarity out of chaos for operators under stress.
• Strategic Sparring Partner: Proactively challenge APIs and data structures to ensure they support frontend performance and the operator's experience.
• Mastering Agentic Workflows: Set architectural guardrails, validate AI outputs, and solve integration and quality challenges in AI-assisted development.
• Engineering for Extreme Constraints: Build high-performance, framework-less user interfaces using Vanilla TS and Web Components that function in low-bandwidth or air-gapped conditions.
• Collaborative Excellence: Act as a team multiplier by sharing knowledge and facilitating fact-based discussions.
