Head of Program Lead

About the role

Aqemia is a drug invention company using a proprietary platform that combines physics-based modeling and generative AI to design novel drug candidates. The Head of Program Lead will oversee program strategy, governance, and methodology while managing and mentoring a team of program leaders. This role is central to ensuring that research programs remain outcome-oriented and scientifically rigorous as the company scales its drug discovery pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Challenge and drive program purpose and progress to ensure they remain focused and outcome-oriented.
• Conduct regular 360-degree program assessments using KPIs, stakeholder inputs, and market insights.
• Lead resource allocation discussions to ensure optimal deployment of talent, capital, and time.
• Support the design, harmonization, and implementation of standardized methodologies for program governance and execution.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Program Leaders while fostering a culture of accountability.
