About the role

As a Linux System Administrator, you will shape the future IT landscape of a growing technology company specializing in industrial image processing and automation. You will focus on Linux and open-source solutions, migrating applications, enhancing cyber security, and developing an internal AI server. This role offers significant creative freedom and direct collaboration with management in a small, agile IT team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the Linux system landscape and associated network and IT infrastructure.
• Drive the migration of standard software to open-source alternatives.
• Implement virtualization and automation using tools like Proxmox, Docker, vSphere, Python, and Ansible.
• Enhance cyber security and resilience in compliance with standards like NIS 2, GDPR, CRA, and TISAX.
• Maintain and expand the company's internal Linux-based AI server infrastructure.
• Provide high-level technical support for internal users at the second and third levels.
