About the role
Vicoland is seeking a Tech Lead to drive the technical direction and architecture of our AI-driven SaaS platform. You will lead and grow an engineering team while remaining hands-on with development, leveraging AI to ship high-quality software. This role involves translating business needs into technical roadmaps and fostering a culture of ownership and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Lead, grow, and enable a team of engineers through hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- Own the technical direction and architecture across the full stack to ensure scalability and maintainability.
- Contribute features end-to-end by coding, building prototypes, and utilizing AI tools.
- Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps in collaboration with product and business stakeholders.
- Establish engineering standards and quality gates for design, development, QA, and deployment.
- Implement best practices for AI development, including model selection, evaluation, and observability.
- Act as a strategic partner to leadership regarding technology strategy and build-vs-buy decisions.
