About the role

Vulcan Energie Ressourcen GmbH is an innovative company focused on lithium extraction and renewable energy. They are seeking an IT System Administrator to manage and develop their datacenter and network infrastructure to support the company's growth and decarbonization goals.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex IT infrastructure issues and implement structured resolutions.
• Operate, monitor, and develop network landscapes including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and site connectivity.
• Administer and optimize datacenter components such as firewalls, storage, backup, and switch systems.
• Plan and implement capacity, availability, and lifecycle measures to ensure infrastructure scalability.
• Design secure and standardized infrastructure solutions for new sites and modernization projects.
• Maintain documentation and track changes, problems, and tasks in Jira Service Management.
