About the role

The Team Leader Strategic Procurement plays a key role in managing supplier relationships, digitalization, master data, and procurement controlling. This position involves developing procurement strategies, leading negotiations, and driving process improvements while managing a team of three. The role requires a strategic and analytical mindset to optimize costs and performance within a well-established family-owned business.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies, bundle volumes, and realize cost-saving potentials.
• Lead strategic price negotiations, tenders, and contract discussions.
• Build and develop strategic supplier portfolios, including evaluation systems and cooperation.
• Establish KPIs, reporting, and dashboards for volumes, prices, savings, risks, and performance.
• Drive the digitalization of procurement processes, ERP systems, BI, and master data management.
• Provide professional and disciplinary leadership for a team of three employees.
• Collaborate across departments including operations, sales, logistics, controlling, finance, and IT.

Qualifications

• Commercial vocational training
