About the role

The Asset Accountant will manage and optimize processes within the asset lifecycle and oversee asset-related workflows. This role involves maintaining master data, recording complex asset movements, and supporting monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage master data and record complex asset movements
• Book assets under construction and handle subsequent settlements
• Support monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB
• Monitor asset-relevant accounts and open items
• Evaluate different asset classes for balance sheet purposes
• Document accounting decisions and coordinate asset inventories
• Collaborate closely with internal departments

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
