Deputy Lead Quality (Aerospace / Defense)

About the role

This role combines operational execution with strategic responsibility in a regulated aerospace environment. It offers the opportunity to influence safety-critical products while serving as a deputy lead in a newly created position. The role involves managing a small team and driving quality standards within a high-tech setting.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the further development and implementation of quality standards according to international norms (EN 9100, ISO 9001, EASA Part 21G/145).
• Deputy management of quality management and coordination of audits, including follow-up of measures.
• Optimization of the process landscape and ensuring the efficiency of quality-relevant procedures.
• Support of development and change projects in close cooperation with technical teams.
• Interface management with authorities, customers, and corporate partners during audits and quality issues.
• Initiation of new quality topics and continuous improvement of existing processes.

Qualifications
