Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

Outpost is building an AI-powered global trade engine to simplify international commerce. This role involves working across commercial contracts, payments regulation, AML, corporate governance, and fundraising. You will report to the Head of Tax & Legal and own real work from day one in a fast-scaling fintech environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements including MSAs, merchant contracts, and partnership deals
• Advise on regulatory posture across EMI, PSD2, and equivalent frameworks
• Build and maintain AML policy and compliance programmes
• Support fundraising activities including term sheets, investment documents, and board matters
• Research legal and regulatory requirements for new market entry and manage external counsel
• Manage corporate governance and assist with cap table and equity structure
