Senior Consultant, Commodity & Energy Trading

About the role

Baringa is seeking consultants to join their Commodities and Energy Trading practice to work with major energy companies and utilities. You will help clients translate strategy into action, enter new markets, build trading capabilities, and transform their trading businesses and IT landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Shaping a new model for power trading by creating a business operating model and target architecture for mergers.
• Opening up new power markets by developing and implementing custom trading tools, processes, and strategies.
• Designing and implementing operating models for complex global organizations covering the full trading and commodity lifecycle.
• Working with clients to mature digital capabilities and embed ML and AI into their architectures.
• Leading implementations, upgrades, and system selections for market-leading trading organizations.
