AutoCAD Drafter

About the role

The Pre-Construction Associate supports architects, engineers, project managers, and field teams during the early phases of project development. This role involves technical drafting, project coordination, and the creation of pre-construction documentation to ensure designs are accurate and buildable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, layouts, and multiple-view drafts using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Convert sketches, hand-drawn concepts, and architectural notes into precise digital drawings.
• Assist architects and engineers with estimating, plan takeoffs, bid preparation, and other pre-construction deliverables.
• Collaborate with project managers, field installers, and shop personnel to confirm field conditions and clarify design requirements.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications to verify accuracy and buildability.

Qualifications
