Senior Vendor Manager / Lieferantenmanager Telekommunikation

About the role

As a Senior Vendor Manager, you will play a key role in the fiber optic expansion at OXG. You will ensure that construction and expansion partners work reliably and efficiently while integrating modern tools and AI approaches into supplier management. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to monitor performance, manage quality, and drive process improvements across the entire value chain.

Responsibilities

• Review quality and delivery performance with expansion partners regularly.
• Monitor partner performance and implement measures to improve processes and productivity.
• Systematically address quality deviations and ensure corrective action plans are implemented on time.
• Identify optimization potential across the process chain from planning to construction and documentation.
• Support the development of AI-based monitoring and reporting approaches for vendor management.
• Manage risks related to financially distressed partner companies, including assessment and transition scenarios.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience in supplier management or vendor management
• Proven network in NE3 and NE4 planning and construction
• Experience with financially distressed construction companies
• Fluent German (C2) and good English (B1) communication skills
