Director of Deployment

About the role

The Director of Deployment will lead the Solutions team to scale the deployment of AI control and optimisation systems in industrial plants. This leadership role involves coaching engineers, managing customer relationships, and collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to turn bespoke deployments into repeatable, efficient processes. The goal is to scale from 9 to 50 live plants by the end of 2027 while significantly reducing deployment timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Solutions team of engineers and team leads.
• Manage the end-to-end deployment process to ensure plants go live within 8 weeks of contract signing.
• Act as the senior escalation point for customer issues and internal team challenges.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to integrate customer-specific fixes into the core product.
• Design team structure and manage hiring and performance to support portfolio growth.
• Establish post-sales models for model upkeep, support, and expansion.
